Welcome to the 1st annual BusyTeacher Awards, a community-focused competition rewarding the best of education-related websites, brands, products, services and personalities!

Inspired by Mashable Awards and their streamlined design,  The BusyTeacher Awards is a community-nominated voting program that recognizes the companies, people and projects that made the biggest impact on the education landscape in 2011. Millions of votes will be cast in 18 categories such as Teaching Website of the Year, Coursebook of the Year, and Teacher Store of the Year.

Readers can nominate their favorite companies, people, sites and products once a day for each category.

BusyTeacher's editors will select the five finalists for each category. The final nominees will be announced on Jan. 10, 2012 at which time readers will vote for the winners.
